My inconsistency from switching instructors was reflected on my overall driving. I had lost all hope and passion towards driving as I was on the verge of giving up completely. Struggling to grasp the different methods of driving my best friend recommended Dell to me. Dell was my third and final resort. I guess they say “third times the charm” for a reason.
Dells positive and honest characteristic is a key factor for my success. He would not sugar coat or give you false hope, he will simply criticise and praise you when needed (simply- he will say it how it is). This encouraged me to work harder
I still remember Dell saying “Sian you can drive a car but are you driving up to DSA standards, are demonstrating safe driving, making use of floor markings, planning ahead?.. You need to prove you can do all that to me and the examiner, so show me you can do this!”
One valuable lesson I have taken on board from my lessons is to pay attention to every little detail despite how big or small; floor marking, road sign or even what’s likely to occur, because “they are there for a reason.”
Moment of truth, I shall miss our lessons you made it a great experience but no more 9clock starts on my day off 😉
I wish you all the best and I can’t thank you enough for your help.
If you want the best of the best I suggest Dell- he won’t disappoint you.
